Coal Vines Pizza & Pasta | Dallas Eats

Looking for a fantastic ambiance to eat delicious New York style gluten free pizza and drink some tasty beverages? Coal Vines has you covered. With locations in various parts of DFW, there should be one nearby.

Our favorite location is the Uptown Dallas Coal Vines Restaurant. The expansive patio is a brilliant place to take a load off and slowly sip a glass of wine. The brightly colored flowers lining the outdoor dining area transport you back to your days of visiting Europe. But, with other kid patrons dining at surrounding tables, you won’t feel out of place if you have little ones along. If truth be told, we always struggle in Dallas to find the right balance of kid friendly dining without sacrificing an enjoyable upscale environment. We are happy to report that this place has definitely found the right balance. Plus, with gluten free pizza being the main star of the menu, you won’t have to argue with your little ones about eating everything on their plate. The main dish served can basically be classified as “kid food” already! Plus, they have their own parking lot so no need to wander around hunting for street parking and walking a mile with little ones in hand.

Mom and dad not feeling pizza? Or, maybe your little gluten free traveler has tired of eating pizza since it has been the only thing safely on offer during the duration of your trip? Head to the Southlake Coal Vines location. They have you covered by even serving gluten free pasta dishes.

Multiple Locations Include:

Dallas, Addison, Plano, Richardson and Southlake.

Mom Notes:

For those who can eat gluten, don’t miss the fried zucchini chips provided gratis as an appetizer at the Dallas Uptown location! Also, be sure to check the menu by location. Looks to me like each location is independently operated so the menu can vary slightly. Example: Southlake has both gluten free pasta AND gluten free pizza on the menu, while the Uptown Dallas establishment only has gluten free pizza.
