I know what some of you are thinking. International travel with a food restricted kid? That doesn't sound like a vacation to me!

I admit: Yes, eating out without getting gluten contamination is hard enough right here in the United States of America, let alone, in a country where you don't read or speak the language and you are unsure about their general knowledge of gluten allergies.

Admittedly, we have been to many an international destination that was either puzzled by the term "gluten" or just didn't have anything on hand that I felt was really 100% safe.

But, if you do the right research and preparation before rolling in to that foreign land, you will soon discover that there are also some really great international gluten free adventures out there for the taking.

So travel on my gluten-fee heroes. Get out there and see the world!
